MEET THE FOUNDER

“Advanced Clinical Dietetics was founded with a clear and unwavering purpose: to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic care that is both clinically rigorous and person-centred.
At the heart of Advanced Clinical Dietetics is a commitment to precision, integrity, and compassion. We believe nutrition care should be individualised, grounded in science, and delivered with genuine respect for each person’s lived experience. There is no place here for trends, quick fixes, or one-size-fits-all approaches — only careful assessment, clinical expertise, and collaborative care.
Our work is centred on complex and nuanced presentations, including eating disorders, disordered eating, and disease management, where nutrition plays a critical role in both physical and psychological well-being. We value continuity of care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the quiet but powerful impact of consistent, high-quality clinical support.
Advanced Clinical Dietetics exists to support patients not just to eat, but to heal — restoring trust in food, in their bodies, and in the care process itself. Every recommendation is made with intention, empathy, and respect for the individual behind the diagnosis.
It is both a privilege and a responsibility to walk alongside patients in their care, and this principle guides every aspect of our practice.”
ABOUT US
Advanced Clinical Dietetics is a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive dietetic practice providing specialist, evidence-based nutrition care across a range of complex physical and mental health presentations. Our approach is grounded in clinical training, professional accreditation, and a deep respect for each individual’s history, values, and lived experience. Care is delivered by an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, with particular expertise in eating disorders, disordered eating, gastrointestinal conditions, and chronic disease. We work closely with mental health considerations at the forefront, recognising the strong and inseparable relationship between nutrition, psychology, and overall well-being. All support is collaborative, non-judgemental, and tailored — prioritising safety, trust, and long-term health over weight-centric or prescriptive models of care.
Our Approach
At Advanced Clinical Dietetics, our approach is grounded in clinical excellence, compassion, and respect for the individual. We provide trauma-informed, weight-inclusive nutrition care that acknowledges the complex interaction between physical health, mental health, and lived experience.
Each patient is met with care that is collaborative, non-judgemental, and tailored to their unique needs. We prioritise safety, trust, and consistency, recognising that meaningful and sustainable change occurs within a supportive therapeutic relationship. Nutrition interventions are informed by current evidence, clinical guidelines, and thorough assessment — never trends or rigid protocols.
Where appropriate, we collaborate closely with GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.
Our focus is not on weight or perfection, but on improving health, restoring function, and supporting long-term wellbeing in a way that feels respectful, realistic, and sustainable.
